Zen Shiatsu for Burnout and exhaustion: English version

Zen Shiatsu: Holistic bodywork offers a holistic approach to restoring energetic balance in cases of burnout and exhaustion syndromes.

Zen Shiatsu is based on the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine and utilizes the meridian system and its corresponding organs for both: diagnosis and treatment. It incorporates Hara diagnosis: abdominal diagnosis, where the organ zones are palpated before each treatment, and interactions and resonances are felt.

In this meridian system flows the so-called Chi, our life energy. It nourishes the entire body, mind, and soul, and runs between the lymph, blood, bones, muscles, and fascia.

Where the fascia thickens, there are acupuncture points that can be influenced by needles, as in acupuncture, as well as with fingers, hands, and elbows—in other words, bodywork in Zen Shiatsu.

The system has been scientifically proven in studies in the West, including at the Charité hospital, and is based on 3000 years of knowledge and research.

Zen Shiatsu regulates through gentle pressure along the meridians, by loosening the joints and areas of congestion, and through various mobilization techniques, for:

  • energy flow
  • stress reduction
  • balancing the nervous system
  • respiration
  • and muscle tension.

It also promotes

  • self-awareness
  • boundary setting
  • and the perception of needs
  • leading to increased resilience.

... It therefore works:

It thus has the following effects:

  • Stress-reducing and
  • mood-lifting

From the perspective of Traditional Chinese Medicine, illness is always preceded by a weakening process over an extended period. This can be caused by lack of sleep, increased stress at work and in the family, pre-existing conditions, or traumatic experiences.

A recurring diagnosis suggests a direction, an idea, in which an organ weakness or illness might manifest, if it is not already present.

Therefore, treatments are also suitable as preventative measures.

Burnout is often associated with

  • liver stagnation

Exhaustion syndromes with depression are often characterized by a

  • lack of vital energy.

Every person is a unique individual, requiring an individualized diagnosis and treatment. Accordingly, a comprehensive medical history is necessary to determine when specific weaknesses began.

This text is intended only to provide a brief overview.

Zen Shiatsu is a very comprehensive practice and has been further developed in recent decades, particularly in Europe, with a focus on energetic aspects. Quantum Shiatsu, Quantum Healing, etc. are no longer foreign concepts and are integrated into my daily practice.

The foundation for this lies in my regular Buddhist Zen practice, meditation, healing yoga, mediumship, energy work, and much more.

In addition to Zen Shiatsu, I also offer Body centered conversations. This involves becoming aware of and clarifying issues, feeling, experiencing, andristinastuckert releasing them on a physical, mental, and spiritual level.

Both approaches complement each other well.
